Nel 2013 i Black Sabbath - nati nel 1968 - sono tornati in studio dopo ben diciotto anni, dando vita all'album "13": c'erano Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler... mancava solo il batterista Bill Ward, ritiratosi all'ultimo momento: peccato! (Con i tre, nell'album, c'era Brad Wilk, già con Rage Against the Machine e Audioslave; in tour, invece, il batterista è stato ed è Tommy Clufetos.) "End of the Beginning" è la prima traccia di "13".
